Kids + Mud = fun

Memphis, TN (March 3, 2023) – On February 1, St. Columba Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center announced it opened camp registration for its popular summer camps, well-known as “Mud Camp,” for the 2023 season.

As of March 1, 517 campers ages 6-14 had registered at www.MemphisMudCamp.org.

“Our day camp has long served families in the Midsouth,” said Matthew Arehart, Director of Camps and Experience. “Several years ago we also started allowing families to register for overnight camps and as of right now, we only have three overnight spaces left for the entire summer! We also launched registration for Camp Able, our June day camp for children with special needs and disabilities, or ‘diverse-abilities’ as we prefer to call them.”

Mud Camp and Camp Able have camp sessions that begin at $175 per five-day session and provides trained staff as camp counselors. Programs include high and low challenge courses, relationship building, arts and crafts, canoeing, kayaking, watersliding, and sports all spent outside in a supportive community dedicated to welcoming all people.
